Sweet Indulgences - Cinnamon Blueberry Balsamic Greek Yogurt

Cinnamon Blueberry Balsamic Greek Yogurt recipe

One of my favorite spices that I add to almost EVERYTHING I can think of is cinnamon.  Another favorite is balsamic vinegar...it adds such depth to any recipe.  I try to avoid eating a lot of sugar and recently whipped up this yogurt dish for breakfast and I'm now positively addicted.  It tastes like blueberry cheesecake ... as a matter of fact, that will be my next experiment with these ingredients!

Cinnamon Blueberry Balsamic Greek Yogurt

Recipe by Laura Ashman Jolna
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt 0% (I use Fage)
  • 1/4 tsp (approx) Cinnamon
  • 1 packet Stevia In The Raw
  • 1/2 Tbsp Reduced Sugar Blueberry Preserves
  • 1/2 tsp Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar
Cooking Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in small bowl with a whisk. Top with fresh or freeze dried blueberries.

Note:   I use Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar from The Olive Vineyard in Agoura Hills, CA.  I also love to make this dish with their Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar and use strawberry preserves and top with fresh strawberries.  I get the blueberry and strawberry reduced sugar preserves from Trader Joe's.

Have a sweet day!
