In The Kitchen - Wolfgang Puck's Beet Layer Cake

Wolfgang Puck's Beet and Goat Cheese Napoleons were my favorite appetizer at Spago and we had them at our wedding luncheon.  I say "were" because they are not on the menu any longer.  Oh, how I miss them!

The citrus vinaigrette combined with the hazelnuts is heavenly.  They really are elegant little presents on the plate.  Click here to see the recipe from Saveur Magazine, March 2010.

I'll be going to the farmer's market this weekend to pick up golden beets and playing in the kitchen with these recipes. Can't wait!
