Sharing some more of my favorite René Gruau illustrations with you today. These are from his "winter" collections over the years and I love the colors! Especially the ones with pops of color on the black background. The last two images feel very New Year's Eve to me and I imagine a fabulous ball that these ladies are attending to celebrate. One thing is certain, it's almost impossible to choose a favorite Gruau illustration. Impossible!
